Deli Zioza

If my lunch at the MLC centre was Monopoly, then Deli Zoza would have Mayfair, Park Lane, Liverpool St Station, Bond Street, Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly, Water Works, Coventry Street, Leicester Square, Fenchurch Street Station, Trafalgar Square, Fleet Street, Strand, Vine Street, Marlborough Street, Bow Street, Marylebone Station, Northumberland Avenue, Whitehall, Electric Company and Pall Mall in it’s impressive property portfolio. Yes, Deli Zioza is definitely my first choice for lunchies at the MLC… almost by default for most of the rest is of Old Kent quality. Roasts, grills, pre-mixed and made salads, rolls and sandwiches of tuna, Portuguese/Tandoori/Schnitzel/Cajun/Sweet Chilli chicken that can be toasted are on display. But it’s the custom sandwich bar where I make a beeline for. On brown or soy & linseed, slap on that baby spinach, rocket, avocado, tomato and eggplant, Cajun chicken for protein (add $2 for an extra slice), topped off with aioli. This sanger with 5 toppings not including the meat sets you back $8.40. Great value and straight out of the shower freshness that’s hard to go past.

4.5 / 5 yums!
